Serving in Times of Pandemic COVID-19
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”. Joshua 1:9
The COVID-19 break out was first experienced in the Wuhan city of China at the end of December 2019. The virus spread rapidly around the world and then affecting 209 countries in North America, Europe, UK, Africa, Australia, and Asia including Pakistan. More than fifty thousand mortalities have come under the effect of the virus and one million-plus have been affected, while the number keeps on increasing every day. Even with the least of the resources, Pakistan has taken rigorous measurements to control the spread of the virus on the national level. Especially designed hospitals, laboratories for the test, awareness campaigns, lockdown, and quarantine facilities have been brought under practical compulsory steps.
Christian Hospital Tank, while serving in this difficult situation is not behind from any other health care institution or hospital. We took and are taking all the necessary measures which are needed to be taken against this deadly virus. We are screening the patients right at the entrance of the hospital main gate with temperature scanners and disinfectant materials. Daily in our all offices and wards disinfectant spray is done to ensure the safety of the staff. Our medical staff is taking every measure while treating patients in wards and OPDs covering themselves with protective kits, masks, and surgical gloves. Despite having no isolation wards in our hospital, we are still committed to treating patients having corona free symptoms to serve humanity in God’s love.
We as Christian serving institution even with the shortage of medical staff have ensured the best service in this difficult time of COVID-19 outbreak. We have treated every patient coming from local or way far from us with great zeal of human concern.
God’s Blessings.
