What did you feel when you heard about the earthquake in Nepal? That it’s sad, but far away? That you want to help somehow?
One of our teachers at Dr. Ulla Memorial School said: “I thought about the time when my family needed help. People, who didn’t even know us, gave money to support us, because God put it on their hearts. I don’t know the people in Nepal, but God knows them. Today he put it on my heart to help them.”
Together with another teacher he asked for permission to raise money from the people living on the hospital compound and the church congregation. They managed to raise Rs. 20,300! A staff member, who worked in Nepal before, will take care that the money goes to people who suffered from the earthquake.
